How might we see poems as fractals — capable of representing both part and whole? What threads have the potential to link seemingly disparate themes together? In this workshop we will explore how to bring together a body of poems that can stand alone as well as conversing with each other. Participants will look at the work of poets including Layli Long Soldier, Terrance Hayes and Victoria Chang, in addition to borrowing from disciplines such as architecture and geometry to generate new ways of thinking about movement and structure.
