"I write because life does not appease my appetites and anger." - Gloria Anzaldúa.
Looking at work from the late Padraic Fiacc, Gloria Anzaldúa, Miyó Vestrini, Sean Bonney, and Noor Hindi, this workshop will explore how we turn that unappeased energy into productive poetic strategy, to demonstrate that rage not only exerts a peculiar power over the aesthetics of poetry, but that poetry can channel rage as a transformative tool, one that has the power to renegotiate terms of textual, social, and political encounter.
Max: 25 ppl
Price £20
Duration 3 hours
